Sexual Assault Suspect Sought NR17329ml

South Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department's detectives are asking for the public's help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of a sexual assault suspect.

Detectives are investigating a total of three sexual assaults which occurred in May, August, and September 2017.

Police described the suspect as a Male, Black, standing at 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall with a stocky build.

The suspect is picking up women in his truck on Western Avenue and 51st Street in South Los Angeles. The suspect's truck is described as an older model black pickup truck.

The suspect takes the victims to a secluded location, sexually assaults them, and then releases them.

Investigators have a few leads and are asking anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Dan Aguirre or Detective Dara Brown at Robbery Homicide Division, Special Assault Section, at (213) 486-6910. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
