Bar Shooting Results in Four Wounded and One Dead

Los Angeles: On Saturday, December 13, 2003, at about 12:50 a.m., the victims, 34 year-old William Anthony Collins, a 25 year-old male Black, a 67 year-old male Black, and a 46 year-old female Black were in the enclosed rear patio area of the Bottom Line Bar, located in the 2000 block of West Manchester Avenue. Unidentified suspect(s) fired numerous rounds from the parking lot into the patio area. Mr. Collins sustained a single gunshot wound to the head and died at the scene. The 25 year-old male sustained a single graze wound to his right shoulder, the 67 year-old sustained a graze wound to his right leg, and the 46 year-old female sustained a single gunshot wound to her lower right leg.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported victims to a local hospital.
The motive and the suspect(s) identity are unknown.
