Two Women Shot; One Dies

Los Angeles: On Saturday morning, August 9, 2003, at about 8:00 a.m., 18 year-old Natasha Monique Richards and a 17 year-old female were found by a passerby in an alley adjacent to 5016 South Harvard Boulevard. Both Richards and Miles sustained gunshot wounds. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported the victims to a local hospital. The 17 year-old victim is listed in stable condition with gunshot wounds to her back. Richards is listed in critical condition with a gunshot wound to her head.
On Tuesday evening, August 12, 2003, at 4:20 p.m., Natasha Monique Richards died from her injuries at the hospital.
The motive is unknown.
The suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding.
