WHAT: A News Conference to announce the $75,000 reward offered by the Los Angeles City Council to apprehend the murderer(s) of Bert Crump Jr.

WHEN: Friday, February 6, 2015 10 a.m.

WHO: Representative of Los Angeles City Councilman Bernard Parks Detective Eric Crosson, Criminal Gang Homicide Division Detective Fernando Cuevas, Criminal Gang Homicide Division Detective Christopher Barling, 77th Area Homicide Coordinator Family members of Victim Bert Crump Jr.

WHY: On August 22, 2014, around 6:15 p.m., 17-year-old Bert Crump Jr. was walking in the area of Gage Avenue near Normandie Avenue when he and another male were shot by an unknown assailant. The second victim survived his injuries and Bert Crump Jr. died at the scene. The Office of Councilman Bernard Parks has obtained a $75, 000 reward from the Los Angeles City Council for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the death of Bert Crump Jr.
