Hit and Run Collision Kills Bicyclist NR18114dm

Los Angeles: Detectives from the
Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division are asking
for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead
to the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in a hit
and run traffic collision that killed a bicyclist.

On April 10, 2018, around 12:45 p.m., a vehicle traveling east on
Manchester Avenue, at a high rate of speed, collided with a
bicyclist as he turned on to Manchester Avenue from Normandie
Avenue. The driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene,
identify themselves, and render assistance.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported
the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Frederick Richon
Frazier, a resident of Los Angeles.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white Porsche Cayenne. There
is no suspect description.

On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles
Administrative Code and created a Hit and Run Reward Program Trust
Fund. A reward of up to $50,000 is available to community members
who provide information leading to the offender’s identification,
apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil
compromise.
