CRIME INFORMATION
Suspect-1, Carranza, approached an armored car courier from the back in a crowded Department of Motor Vehicle Office and shot the courier with one round to the head. Suspect-2, took the courier bag containing money. Both suspects fled a short distance in a vehicle that was later abandoned. The abandoned vehicle, money and guns were all recovered during the search. Additional Information: Suspects are from El Salvador and were traced back to El Salvador within a month following the crime. Suspects had relatives and friends living in the Rampart and Hollywood Areas during the 1990's. Suspects also had common-law wives who moved to Falls Church, Virginia with other relatives.
