Los Angeles – Easter is less than a week away and for most children that means it’s time for Easter egg hunts. However, for children less fortunate, and bed ridden due to a variety of illnesses, it won’t be a time to attend such fun holiday events.
Senior Lead Officer Christopher Crosby of the West Valley Community Police Station, and other officers from the division, will be distributing 60 Easter baskets to children who are spending their Easter at Children’s Hospital. SLO Crosby stated "Our goal is to bring some holiday cheer to those children who are less fortunate."
SLO Crosby and Officer Allberook-Archer will be at Children’s Hospital today April 9, 2001 at 5:00PM. SLO Crosby will be on hand to interview and answer questions at the ambulance entrance of the hospital.
