"Eight Month Old Girl Abducted by Father – Concern for Welfare of Infant"
 

Los Angeles: On April 2, 2003 at 3:30 P.M., Alberto Castellanos abducted his 8 month-old daughter (Divinia Jolie Castellanos) against the will of the child’s mother. The Child’s mother, Myra Avila, was on her way to the hospital with LAFD paramedics when Alberto advised her that he would take the baby to his mother’s home and meet her at the hospital.
Myra was concerned when Alberto never returned. Myra and Alberto’s mother searched the area but were unable to find Albert or the baby. Police were notified at that time.
Alberto Castellanos also has Myra Avila’s vehicle, a 1998 Ford, gold, Windstar Van, License plate of 4RTE 022.
There is a concern for the well being of the child because Alberto Castellanos suffers from depression and is at times delusional.

On April 3, 2003, at approximately 5:30 p.m., eight month-old Divinia Jolie Castellanos was returned to her mother, Myra Avila.
