Detectives Investigate Fatal Stabbing

Los Angeles: On Thursday, January 1, 2004, at about 3:40 p.m., the victim, 37 year-old Homer Bell was found by his partner, 37 year-old Janice Brown , lying on the front porch of a residence located in the 1000 block of West 81st Street, with apparent stab wounds.
Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Mr. Bell dead at the scene.
The motive and the suspect(s) identity are unknown at this time.
