"19 Year Old Killed in Fatal Traffic Collision in Northridge"
 
Northridge: On Sunday, July 29, 2001, at approximately 12:05 a.m., 23 year old Nicholas Saldivar was driving his 1994 Ford Ranger Pick-up truck eastbound on Rinaldi Street. As he was approaching Wilbur Avenue, he collided with a 1998 Toyota Camry, driven by 18 year old Joan Suh. Suh was making a left turn from westbound Rinaldi Street to southbound Wilbur Avenue when the collision occurred. The force of the impact extended to the right front passenger area of the Toyota Camry, critically injuring 19 year old Janet Lee of Chatsworth. The Los Angeles Fire Department and Rescue responded and pronounced Lee dead at the scene.
