Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Area Robbery Section is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects that robbed two separate convenience stores in the Los Angeles Area.

First Robbery

On Friday, August 1, 2003, at about 5:25 a.m., two male Blacks entered the 7-Eleven convenience store located in the 2600 block of North Main Street. One suspect stood by at the front counter near the cash register while the other suspect removed a handgun from his waistband. The suspect with the handgun then ordered a delivery worker to the back office and had him lay face down on the floor. The same suspect then located the store employee in the aisle, and at gunpoint, ordered him to go behind the front counter and open both cash registers. The suspect then removed money from both registers and placed it inside a black backpack. The suspects took a total of two hundred dollars.
Both suspects then exited the store and walked West towards Daly Street.

Second Robbery

On Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at about 10:25 p.m., a male Black wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a blue bandana covering his face, entered Mickey’s Liquor Store located in the 4900 block of South Huntington Drive. The suspect pointed a semi-automatic handgun at two employee’s working the cash register. The suspect stated, "don’t move, give me your money." The suspect walked behind the front counter and pointed the handgun to the back of an employee’s head while he simultaneously removed money from the cash register. The suspect then calmly walked out of the store.
