Chief Bratton Completes the Written Portion of the California Peace Officers Standards of Training

"Chief Bratton Completes the Written Portion of the California Peace Officers Standards of Training Exam"

 

Los Angeles: On Monday, August 30, 2004, Chief William J. Bratton completed the written exam for the California Peace Officers Standards of Training Certification.

Subjects tested included the California Penal Code, Traffic Enforcement, Domestic Violence, Use of Force, Search and Seizure, Juvenile Law, Narcotics Enforcement, Persons with Disabilities, Hazardous Materials and other subject matter.

The Practical Application Exams in the areas of firearms and self-defense will soon be scheduled in order for him to complete the required California Peace Officers Standards of Training Certification.
