Two Suspects Arrested for the Murder of Samuel Salas

Los Angeles: North Hollywood Homicide Detectives have arrested two suspects in the murder of Samuel Salas.  On August 13, 2005, Samuel Salas was shot to death when he attempted to help his friend that was being attacked by a group of gang members. 
On Thursday, August 25, a United States Marshals Task Force arrested 29-year-old Enrique Diaz, at his home on Angelino Street in the City of Burbank.  A second suspect, 22-year-old Job Popolo, was already in custody in Van Nuys Jail when he was re-booked for murder on August 26, 2005. 
Detectives have also obtained a murder warrant for two additional suspects, a male Hispanic adult and a 15 year-old juvenile.  Furthermore, investigators believe there are still approximately 6-8 additional suspects involved in the attack and shooting.
