UPDATE

Adolphus Henry was located yesterday in Monterey Park, Calif.  Mr. Henry has been in the hospital since August 1, 2010.  His family has been notified and have arranged for his release from the hospital.

Los Angeles: The family of 76-year-old Adolphus Henry and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Henry, who has been missing since last week.

Henry was last seen on July 31, 2010 around 10:30 p.m. at his Los Angeles home in the 1200 block of East 35th Street in LAPD’s Newton Area.  Since then, he hasn’t been seen or heard from, and his family is extremely concerned for his welfare.  They’ve advised that he suffers from dementia, Parkinson’s disease, asthma and high blood pressure.  He is also blind in his left eye and has no teeth.

Henry is described as a Black male with gray hair and brown eyes.  He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a blue Dodger shirt, blue pants, black Vans tennis shoes and a black 49ers baseball cap.  

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Henry is asked to call the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
