Motorcyclist Killed in Collision NR11360kr

Los Angeles:  A 39-year-old motorcyclist from Mt Baldy was killed Wednesday afternoon when he collided into a car that was turning left in front of him.

On August 3, 2011, at around 2:30 p.m., a motorcyclist traveling eastbound on Los Feliz Boulevard collided with a 2010 Infinity G37 that was being driven by a 20-year-old man from Los Angeles, traveling westbound Los Feliz Boulevard to southbound Rowena Avenue.  

The motorcycle driver was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics where he died a short time later.  His name is being withheld until his family can be notified.  The driver of the Infinity was not injured.

The investigation is continuing and there have been no arrests or citations issued. At the conclusion of the investigation the case will be presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
