WHY:
To discuss the arrest of three suspects who are in custody in connection with the murder of 25-year-old Kashmier James on Dec. 25, 2010.  James was gunned down in the 1700 block of West 85th Street while visiting with friends. She was the mother of a 3-year-old child and her murder outraged the community.

Charges of murder, attempted murder and gang allegations have been filed against the suspects.  Additional information about the arrest and special recognition will be given to those involved in solving this case.
