Man shot to death in the Hollenbeck Area NR14302lp

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck Division Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) who killed 40-year-old Edgar Pastor.

On August 10, 2014, around 12:15 a.m., the victim was in the area of the 2200 block of Thomas Street when unknown suspect(s) shot Pastor. Edgar Pastor drove away in his vehicle and was involved in a traffic accident in a nearby alleyway.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Pastor to a local area hospital where he died due to his injuries.

There is no suspect(s) description and there is no further information at this time.
