WHAT: Police officers from the Newton Division will be shopping for school supplies with children from the community.

WHERE: Staples Office Supply Store 1701 S. Figueroa Street Los Angeles, California
WHO: LAPD Captain Jorge Rodriguez, Newton Area Commanding Officer LAPD Newton Area Detectives LAPD Newton Area Officers Children from the local community
WHY: Police officers from the Newton Division will be partnering with selected kids from the community to shop for school supplies. The children will be given a $100 gift card to purchase needed supplies for the upcoming school year.
