Detectives Seeking Help to Identify Robbery Suspect NR16264lp

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Newton Area Robbery Unit detectives are asking
for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect captured on
camera.

On August 20, 2016 around 6:20 p.m., the suspect entered a local
business and pretended to buy a phone in the 5300 block of South
Main Street in the city of Los Angeles. As the store clerk was
filling out paperwork, the suspect walked behind the counter and
pushed the clerk away from the cash register. The suspect then told
the clerk to step away from the register or he would hurt her
daughter who was present at the time. The suspect took money from
the register and left the business.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, around 40 years old
with bald/shaved hair, black facial hair and brown eyes. He stands
about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds.
