Shooting Leaves Man Dead NR17246im

North Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of a 30-year-old man. On August 23, 2017, around 7:50 p.m., North Hollywood Area patrol officers responded to an, “ambulance shooting “call in the 12200 block of Burbank Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles. When officers arrived, they found the victim on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. The investigation revealed that the victim may have been involved in a verbal argument with unknown suspect(s) prior to the shooting. The victim had removed a bicycle that did not belong to him from a bicycle rack, the victim was then confronted by an unknown suspect who then shot the victim multiple times. The suspect(s) fled the location in a dark colored vehicle.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to their next of kin and there is no suspect description.
