Distinguished LAPD Memorial to Fallen Officers Revealed

WHY:
Families of fallen officers, City officials, donors, and LAPD command staff will gather to formally reveal and dedicate the Memorial Wall. The Memorial dedicated to fallen LAPD officers was built with private funding from the Los Angeles Police Foundation. The names of 202 officers are inscribed on brass plates on the wall which weighs 11,000 pounds. Gensler, the premier architecture firm, donated their design services to create the inspirational sculpture.
