Man Shot and Killed in the Morning

Los Angeles : On Wednesday December 1, 2004 , at 8:25 a.m., Southeast Detectives responded to an “Ambulance Shooting” radio call at a fast food restaurant at 101st Street and Figueroa Street .
Upon their arrival they observed the victim collapsed inside of his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The victim was later identified as 35 year-old Jerry Lee Wesley.
The suspect was described as a male Black. There are no witnesses identified and the motive for the shooting is unknown.
