Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide Division detectives and the Los Angeles Fire Department are investigating an undetermined death.

On November 29, 2013, around 7:15 a.m., a security guard found a male adult behind a store located in the 5700 block of Mesmer Avenue, in the city of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.  The victim had succumbed to a fire.

According to detectives the cause and origin of the fire are under investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
