18-Year-Old Man Shot and Left to Die On Front Lawn

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the person(s) responsible for the shooting death of 18-year-old Roel Mejia, a Reseda resident.

Early on Saturday morning, Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to the 17200 block of Sunburst Street in Northridge after a citizen reported seeing a man bleeding from multiple gun-shot wounds on the front lawn of a residence.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Mejia dead at the scene.

There is no suspect(s) description and the motive for this shooting is not known.
