17-Year-Old Boy Killed in Traffic Collision NR10073gb

Los Angeles: A collision between two vehicles resulted in the death of one passenger late Friday evening.

On February 12, 2009, at around 9:20 p.m., a 17-year-old male, Adir Vered, was sitting in the rear passenger seat of a vehicle and the vehicle hit a parked vehicle on Wystone Avenue and south of Harnett Street.  According to Detectives, Vered was unbelted and leaning out of the window.  He suffered massive head injuries when he was ejected from the car and died from his injuries.

The 16-year-old driver and another passenger were not injured and the driver was questioned and released.
