WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 21 police officers, with 16 males and five females.  The ethnic breakdown of the class is as follows: four Caucasians, 10 Hispanics, three African Americans, one Filipino and three (non-Korean) Asians.  Graduating officers have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
