LAPD Hollenbeck Area Security Steering Wheel Lock Giveaway

WHAT:
Hollenbeck Area personnel will be giving away security steering wheel locks to residents who are registered owners of 90’s Honda Accords and Civics, Acura Integras and Toyota Camrys.

WHO:

WHY:
To educate residents in Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights and El Sereno area about the most targeted vehicles stolen and broken into in that area. The most popular models are 1990’s models of the Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Acura Integra.

These vehicles are often targeted for parts, as well as for transportation by thieves not interested in utilizing public transportation. Hollenbeck Area personnel will be handing out steering wheel security devices, while supplies last, to registered owners of these vehicles who live within the Hollenbeck Area.
