Man Stabbed to Death NR16044jk

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) who killed a 74-year-old man.

On February 10, 2016 around 10:50 a.m., North Hollywood patrol officers responded to a radio call of a “possible suicide” in the 4900 block of Vineland Avenue. When the officers arrived, they found the victim unconscious and not breathing. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene. Further investigation revealed that the victim was stabbed multiple times.

The victim’s identity is not being released at this time pending notification by the coroner to his family.
