"Murder Investigation"

Los Angeles: On September 30, 2000, at 7:00 AM, the body of a 36-year-old male, (name withheld pending notification of next of kin), was found in the front seat of his 93 Toyota pickup, dead from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. A witness was located that reported seeing the vehicle parked at the location at approximately 4:30 AM. This witness reported that the victim was on the front seat and appeared to be sleeping. No gunshots were heard.

The location is an industrial area, and all businesses were closed. The motive is unknown at this time there are no suspects in custody. This occurred on 58th Street between Main Street and San Pedro Street.
