Publics Assistance Needed in Locating Murder Suspect

Los Angeles: On January 6, 2003, at approximately 10:25 p.m., 22 year-old Jose Santiago was standing near a bus bench on the northeast corner of Pacific Coast Highway and President Avenue, when an unknown suspect, a male Hispanic, walked up to him and fired several rounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.
The motive is unknown, but a witness stated that there was a brief argument prior to shooting between the victim and the suspect.
A composite drawing of the suspect will be available during the press conference. The suspect was described as a male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, approximately 5’10", thin build with a thin mustache and was wearing gray hooded pull over shirt.
