Shooting Leaves Man Dead NR18106ml

Wilmington: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of 37-year-old Richard Oscar Odell.

On April 7, 2018, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Richard Oscar Odell was in the area of 1500 North McDonald Avenue in the city of Wilmington. Mr. Odell was standing outside when unknown suspect(s) fired multiple rounds in Mr. Odell’s direction, striking him and causing him to fall to the ground.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to render aid; however, Mr. Odell died from his injuries.
