Gang Shooting Leaves Man Dead in Parking Lot NR09334rh

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the public’s help in searching for three suspects who shot and killed 33-year-old Gerson Farid Rodriguez on July 12, 2009, in Hollywood.

At around 1:00 a.m., a patrol unit was dispatched to a call in the 1000 block of North Western Avenue, and found Rodriguez suffering from a gunshot wound.  The victim died at the scene.

According to detectives, a trio of suspects confronted Rodriguez while he was in a parking lot and blatantly shot him.  Detectives believe that the shooting was gang related.

All three suspects are described as male Hispanics with shaved heads.  They were last seen wearing a white T-shirts.
