On October 09, 2011, Hollywood Detectives arrested Jorge Tejeda shortly after the murder of Jesse Medina, near the crime scene in the 6700 block of Hollywood Boulevard. Tejeda was booked for Homicide and is being held on two million dollars bail.

Los Angeles:  The LAPD is asking the public’s help in providing any information about the shooting and murder of a 19-year-old man in Hollywood.

On Sunday, October 9, 2011, around 3 a.m., LAPD Hollywood Area police officers responded to the sound of gunshots in the 6700 block of Hollywood Boulevard. When the officers arrived, they found a male victim lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.  LAFD rescue personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives revealed the name of the victim as 19-year-old Jesse Medina of Hollywood.  Further investigation later lead to the arrest and booking of the suspect responsible for the murder of Medina.
