Chief Beck Urges the California Parole Board to Deny Parole to Convicted Murderer Gregory Powell NR10033SF

Los Angeles:  Attached, is a copy of the letter addressed to the California Parole Board from Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck.  The letter strongly urges that the Board deny the option of parole to Gregory Powell.

Gregory Powell was convicted on March 9, 1963, for the brutal murder of Los Angeles Police Officer Ian Campbell.
