Burglars Ransack and Steal-On Camera NR15005jr

Los Angeles: As the video cameras captured their criminal caper, three youthful burglars brazenly entered a home undeterred that their crime would be viewed by the owner-and police.

On Friday, December 26, 2014, three suspects, despite knowing they were being filmed, broke into a Los Angeles residence on the 6600 block of Olympic Boulevard and took thousands of dollars in property and cash. The first of the three burglars walked up to the front door of the residence, covered his hand with his sleeve, and rang the doorbell to see if anyone was home. Determining that no one was inside the residence, the three burglars momentarily delayed their entry due to a postal service delivery person who approached the home. After the postman left the property, the three suspects returned and went into the backyard where they discovered a surveillance camera capturing their crime in progress.

Despite knowing they were being filmed, the suspects broke into the residence and took money and expensive computer equipment worth thousands of dollars. All of the suspect's actions were captured on an extensive surveillance system that was installed in the upscale Wilshire area home.
