WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 8-16

WHEN:Friday, January 20, 2017 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: Los Angeles Police Academy- Elysian Park 1880 North Academy Drive Los Angeles 90012

WHO: Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 25 Police Officers. Of the 25 graduates, there are 22 males and 3 females with the following ethnic breakdowns: 4 Caucasian, 17 Hispanic, 1 African American, and 3 Asian. Graduating officers will have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.

In addition to LAPD, 3 USC Police Officers, 3 Port Police Officers, 2 LAWA Officers, and 1 lateraling from the California City Police Department will be graduating.

NOTE: Event parking will not be available. There is public parking off Academy Road.
