Two Women Wanted for Questioning About Illegal Cosmetic Surgery

Mission Division detectives will hold a news conference to ask for the public’s help in finding two sisters who practice cosmetic surgery without a medical license and seek additional victims who may have had cosmetic urgery at an unlicensed clinic the pair operated out of in the Sylmar area.

Why:
Investigators conducted an undercover operation and identified Guadalupe Viveros, and her sister, Alejandro Viveros, as individuals running an illegal “Cosmetic Surgery Fillers” operation.  Several patients have complained of becoming ill as a result of being injected by these fillers.  One of the patients recently died on July 23, 2010. Detectives will provide an update on the case.
