Friday, June 23, 2000



"Two Victims Shot in Parking Lot"

Pacific - On Thursday, June 22, 2000, at 4:00 p.m., a male Hispanic suspect approached the victims, a 19-year-old male and his companion, a 16-year-old female, as they sat in their vehicle in the parking lot of a restaurant on the 4500 block of Inglewood Avenue. The suspect armed with a handgun fired multiple times striking both victims. The suspect then entered a white small compact foreign vehicle driven by co-suspect(s) and fled the location. The male victim died at the location due to his injuries. The female victim was transported to a local hospital where she was listed in stable condition. Identification of the murdered victim is pending notification of next of kin.
