LA's First Celebration of GLBT Pride

LA City Council Celebrates Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender Pride

Los Angeles City Hall, 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles

Who:
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
Councilmember Bill Rosendahl
Police Commissioner Shelly Freeman
Police Chief William Bratton

Why:
The Los Angeles City Council will hold its first official celebration of GLBT Pride. Councilman Rosendahl will serve as the master of ceremonies. A number of LAPD's Gay and Lesbian officers will be in attendance as well as a recruitment table set-up outside Council Chambers.
