Why:
July is National Vehicle Theft Protection Month. Northeast Area Detectives are reaching out to our community along with representatives from LoJack in combating auto related crimes. In our efforts to fight auto theft, we are inviting several members of our community, who were the victims of Grand Theft Auto and installing a free LoJack tracking system in their new vehicles. There will also be a LoJack-tracking demonstration for the media to showcase how tracking technology is one of the tools that our department uses to combat auto theft.
