Man Dies after Being Stabbed NR13197cn

Los Angeles: On June 11, 2013, at 11:25 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a stabbing investigation at the 6400 block of Yucca Street. When the officers arrived, they were directed to the suspect, a homeless man in a nearby liquor store.  The officers found, the man, Lowell Taylor, inside, and he was taken into custody without incident.

The victim was found lying on the ground in the Hollywood Recycle Center with a stab wound to his upper torso.  Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The victim’s name is being withheld until family member have been notified and Taylor has been booked for murder.
