Los Angeles: The Department’s commitment to openness and involvement with the community is expressed through community gatherings known as, "Town Hall Meetings."
On Thursday, March 28, 2002, at 6:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) will host another in a series of Community Town Hall Meetings.
The Department is cordially inviting members of the community to attend this event to be held in Reseda. This is an excellent opportunity for the public to provide direct input to Chief Bernard C. Parks, and other staff and command officers from Van Nuys, Foothill, North Hollywood, West Valley and Devonshire Areas.
The Town Hall Meeting will enable community members to express their concerns and opinions regarding police service. There will also be an open question and answer period.
