"An Actor Involved in Traffic Collision"
Hollywood Hills-On May 20, 2000, at approximately 12:00 a.m., a minor traffic accident occurred near 2233 Chelan Drive in the Hollywood Hills Area of Los Angeles.
Matthew Perry, a well-known actor, was driving his green Porsche on Chelan Drive when he swerved to avoid another vehicle. Mr. Perry, while successful in avoiding the other vehicle, lost control of his vehicle, drove off the road and collided with the front porch at 2233 Chelan Drive.
West Traffic Division responded to the scene and determined that there were no fatalities and no injuries. Additionally it was determined that there was no evidence or allegation of alcohol or drug involvement. All involved parties, including Mr. Perry, were cooperative.
Since there was no fatality, injury or significant crime involved, no official investigation was conducted and no traffic collision report was completed.
