Attempted Murder Suspect Captured on Camera NR17128ti

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division Major Assault Crimes detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an attempted murder suspect captured on video.

On April 22, 2017, around 6:15 a.m., officers responded to the area of Crescent Heights and Wilshire Boulevard for an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, they found a victim suffering from a six inch laceration to the back of his head. The victim was transported by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics to a local Hospital for his injuries.

The investigation revealed the suspect was riding a bicycle when he approached the victim from behind. The suspect got off of his bicycle and struck the victim over the head with an unknown hard object. The suspect fled the location on his bicycle.

Due to the nature of the victim’s injuries, the victim is unable to provide detectives with any additional information.

Attempted Murder Suspect Captured on CameraThe suspect is described as a male, White, 40-50 years old, approximately 6 feet 1 inches tall, short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, checkered shorts, riding on a possible white/silver mountain bike with a basket on the front.
