Supervisor of the First Quarter 2006

Mission Area
Supervisor of the Quarter
First Quarter 2006

SERGEANT I KIMBERLY KEMPTON, SERIAL NO. 30514

It is with extreme pride and pleasure that Mission Area announces the selection of Sergeant I Kimberly Kempton as Supervisor of the Second Quarter 2006. Sergeant Kempton is the ideal example of a supervisor who has true commitment to her law enforcement career. She is a hard working, relentless, and loyal supervisor who can be counted on to perform any mission. She is what you would really consider the epitome of “The Backbone of the Department.” Sergeant Kempton was assigned to Watch Five patrol and represented her watch admirably.

Sergeant Kempton has proven herself to be a highly motivated professional whose insight and abilities have earned her a solid reputation as a peer leader and outstanding decision maker. In the absence of the Lieutenant or Sergeant II, Kempton is ready, willing and able to sit in as the watch commander, where she is able to handle any tasks with ease. Kempton’s work ethic is exemplary, she routinely can be found in the watch commander’s office soliciting administrative assignments. These assignments are not only completed well in advance of the due date, they are also in completed staff work format. Kempton’s upbeat and positive attitude is infectious, causing every member of her squad to be among the “Top Producers” in the division.

Sergeant Kempton, your dedication to Mission Area and the community you serve is greatly appreciated. Your commitment to achieving the goals and objectives of the Department, the perpetuation of the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics and specifically your strong work ethic, make you worthy of this honor. It is for these reasons you were selected Sergeant of the Quarter for the First Quarter 2006.
