Los Angeles:  The family of Sunay Morales Diaz and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help to locate Diaz.

On March 31, 2012, around 11 p.m., Diaz was seen at her residence in the 8300 block of Sepulveda Boulevard and has not been seen or heard from since.  Her family is extremely concerned for her welfare due to the fact that Diaz has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old child and requires medication for a medical condition.

Diaz is a 21-year-old female Hispanic with brown hair, black eyes, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs 180 pounds.  She was wearing a gray shirt, purple and white vest, dark blue jeans, and red Nike shoes.

Anyone with information on Diaz’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Mission Area Detectives at 818-838-9800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247).  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.  All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.”  Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
