Man Shot on Venice Beach Boardwalk NR18084ti

Venice: The Los Angeles Police Department's, Pacific Detective Division, Robbery Section, is investigating a shooting that occurred in front of the public parking lot near 29 Windward Avenue.

On March 15, 2018, at 9:55 p.m., a group of individuals were confronted by two male suspects accompanied by a female companion. At one point, an altercation occurred. Suspect one armed himself with a semi-automatic pistol and fired at least one round at the crowd of individuals. An 18-year-old male victim who may have intervened was caught in the crossfire and was struck in the arm.

The two suspects and their female companion then fled to a nearby black vehicle and drove away southbound on Pacific Avenue from Windward Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition.

Suspect one is described as a possible 20 to 25-year-old male Hispanic, dark hair, beard, standing approximately 6 feet tall, weighing around 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater, long grey shorts and black shoes.

Suspect two is described as a possible 20 to 25-year-old male White, standing approximately standing 6 feet tall, weighing around 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, a grey hooded jacket, dark pants and black shoes.

The female companion is described as a possible 20 to 25-year-old female Hispanic, long dark hair, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants and beige sandals.
