WHY:
On April 10, 2018, around 12:45 p.m., a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed east on Manchester Avenue, collided with a 22-year-old male bicyclist (Frazier, Frederick Richon) as he turned east on Manchester Avenue from Normandie Avenue. The driver of the vehicle, in a White Porsche Cayenne, failed to remain at the scene, identify themselves, and render assistance. The vehicle then fled eastbound on Manchester Avenue and possibly turned southbound on Budlong Avenue. The bicyclist succumbed to his injuries as a result of the accident. Suspect and vehicle are in custody.

On April 11, 2018, an additional hit and run occurred while friends and family of Frazier were conducting a large candle vigil at Manchester Ave and Normandie Ave. Suspect and vehicle are in custody.
