Car to Car Shooting Leaves 2 Dead and 2 Injured NR18209ml
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department's South Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the death of 22-year-old Laroyice McFarland and 20-year-old Harrison Kristol.On Monday, August 6, 2018, around 8:28 p.m., LAPD Southwest Area officers were in area of 5000 block of West Rodeo Road, Rancho Cienega Sports Center Park, when they heard two to three gunshots.
The officers then heard additional gunshots and observed a car to car shooting involving a dark color Kia and a gray color Honda Accord.
The Honda lost control in the 4000 block of Rodeo Road and veered
into the west bound traffic lanes into the path of a pedestrian,
Laroyice McFarland, a male Black, 22-years-old causing his death
before colliding head on into a parked Lexus RX 350, facing west
bound at the north curb.
The front passenger in the gray Honda Accord was a female Black,
18-years-old, sustained minor injuries during the collision and
was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment and released.
The pursuing officers then lost sight of the suspect vehicle around Vineyard Avenue and Farmdale Avenue.
