Arrest Made of Fatal Shooting NR20275ml

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's South Bureau Homicide Division have made an arrest for a fatal shooting.

On September 16, 2020, at approximately 7:13 p.m., LAPD Southeast patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting at the 2000 block of East 105th Street.

Upon their arrival they located the victim Mr. Hugo Zuniga, a male Hispanic, 35 years old, suffering a from a gunshot wound.

Mr. Zuniga was transported to a local hospital where he died from the injuries he sustained.

On October 29, 2020, 24-year-old, Daquan Hubbard was arrested for the murder of Mr. Zuniga. The success of this investigation is attributed to the tireless efforts of the LAPD South Bureau Homicide Division investigators, combined with the support of personnel from LAPD Gang and Narcotics Division, LAPD-FBI Fugitive Task Force.

On November 2, 2020, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office filed one count of murder on Daquan Hubbard.
